Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), a Provincial Nominee Program(PNP), has following immigration streams divided among these categories

Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker

The International Skilled Worker Category is for skilled workers who wish to live and work in Saskatchewan. This stream has three immigration streams designed to target skilled workers who have the ability to join Saskatchewan’s work force and adapt easily to life in the province. It has 3 sub streams

Saskatchewan Express Entry

This sub-category is for candidates already in the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada's (IRCC) Express Entry pool and have skilled work experience in an in-demand occupation in Saskatchewan.

  • Other Requirements:
  • Be in the Express Entry pool and have an Express Entry Profile Number and Job Seeker Validation Code
  • Meet language requirements
  • Have at least one year of post-secondary education or training;
  • Have a minimum level of work experience related to your field of education or training in an in-demand skilled occupation
  • Get proof of Professional Status or Licensure if required by the SINP
  • Have a certificate of qualification in your skilled trade, if your work experience is in a skilled trade
  • Have enough money to settle in the province and have a settlement plan

Saskatchewan Employment Offer

This sub-category is for skilled workers who have a job offer from a Saskatchewan employer.

    Requirements
  • Job Offer Required : No
  • Other Requirements:
  • Meet language requirements (CLB 4)
  • Have a permanent, full-time job offer from a Saskatchewan employer for an eligible job, and meet licensure requirements if necessary
  • Have at least one year of paid work experience in the past ten years in the intended occupation

Saskatchewan Experience Category

This category has five immigration streams designed for workers who have gained employment experience in Saskatchewan. Eligible candidates for these streams must have a job offer from a Saskatchewan employer to continue working in the province.

Saskatchewan Existing Work Permit

This program targets candidates who have an offer of employment from a Saskatchewan employer and who have already been working for that same employer for the six months prior to applying.

  • Have a valid work permit
  • Have a permanent, full-time job offer from in an eligible job,
  • Have worked for at least six months for the employer offering the permanent job,
  • Meet the language requirement of CLB 4,
  • Have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter; and
  • Have proof of eligibility for licensure if required

Saskatchewan Health Professionals

This program targets doctors, nurses, and other health professionals who are already working in Saskatchewan and have offers for continued employment in their healthcare profession.

  • Other Requirements: Requirements differ for physicians, nurses and other health professionals. However, generally, the candidate must
  • Have a valid work permit
  • Have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter
  • Have a permanent, full-time job offer

Saskatchewan Hospitality Sector Project

This program targets candidates who are currently working in Saskatchewan in the hospitality sector and have an offer of full-time employment to continue this work.

    Requirements
  • Job Offer Required : Yes
  • Other Requirements:
  • Have a valid work permit for Food/Beverage Server (NOC 6453); Food Counter Attendant/Kitchen Helper (NOC 6641); or Housekeeping/Cleaning Staff (NOC 6661)
  • Be employed in Saskatchewan for at least six months, working for an approved employer
  • Have a permanent, full-time job offer from an approved employer
  • Have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter
  • Have at least a high school education
  • Meet the language requirement of CLB 4

Saskatchewan Long Haul Truck Driver Project

This program targets candidates who have an offer of employment from a Saskatchewan trucking company and who have already been working for the same Saskatchewan employer for the six months prior to application on a valid work permit.

  • Other Requirements:
  • Have been working for an approved trucking firm for at least six months with a work permit
  • Have a current Saskatchewan Class 1A driver’s license
  • Have a full-time, permanent job offer from their employer
  • Have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter, and
  • Meet the language requirement of CLB 4

Saskatchewan Students

This program targets international students who have recently graduated from a Canadian educational institution and have at least 6 months of experience working in Saskatchewan

    Requirements
  • Job Offer Required : Yes
  • Other Requirements:
  • Have graduated with a certificate, diploma, or degree outside or in Saskatchewan,
  • Meet the language requirement of CLB 4
  • Have worked for at least six months in Saskatchewan
  • Hold a Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP)
  • Have a permanent, full-time job offer in their field of study from a Saskatchewan employer in an eligible occupation
  • Have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter
