Quebec Self Employed Worker Program

This program allows self-employed workers to come to Quebec who are capable of creating and practicing a job for themselves. Applicants must meet the program requirements to apply under the category and if all of the program requirements are met and application is accepted and Québec Selection Certificate is issued.

Requirements

• Must come to Quebec to create and practice your profession or business
• Must have a net worth of at least CDN$100,000
• Must have at least two years of experience in the field they plan to practice in the province
• A startup deposit must be made with a financial institution in the area of choice to practice the profession. The startup deposit is CAD $25,000 for outside the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal (CMM) and CAD $50,000 for the territory of the CMM
• Must meet the minimum requirement of points in the selection grid
