Quebec Investor Program
This Program gives experienced investors an opportunity, who have assets and net worth which they wish to invest in the province of Quebec. In order to apply to the Quebec Investor Program, applicants must meet the program requirements to apply under the category and if all of the program requirements are met and your application is accepted, you will receive your Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ - Québec Selection Certificate), as will your accompanying family members
Requirements
Must intend to settle in Quebec Permanently
Have net assets of at least $2 million CAD. This amount must have been obtained legally and cannot include amounts received by donation within 6 months of the date of application. This amount may also include assets of the applicant’s spouse or common-law partner.
You must have at least two years of management experience acquired within the five years preceding the submission of your application and must include Planning, Management, Control of financial resources and Control of human or material resources under your authority:
Sign an agreement to invest $1,200,000 CAD with a financial intermediary (broker or trust company) authorized to participate in the Quebec Investor Program.
Meet the minimum points as outlined on the Quebec Investor Point Assessment Grid
must make a five-year term investment of CDN$1.2 million. The investment must be made with IQ Immigrants Investisseurs inc. The investment is guaranteed by the Gouvernement du Québec. At the end of your investment, your financial intermediary will reimburse you the amount of CDN$1,200,000 without interest, within 30 days. The amount repaid may vary, however, if you have opted to finance your investment.The income generated by your investment is used to subsidize two Québec business assistance programs:
Business Assistance-Immigrant Investor Program (PIIAE)
Employment Integration Program for Immigrants and Visible Minorities
