Quebec Experience Program (PEQ)
The Quebec Experience Program is one of the pathways to Permanent Residence and it is an ideal option for international students or temporary skilled foreign workers with eligible work experience in the province. It requires some knowledge of french speaking along with residency requisite in the province along with other program requirements. It is a fast-track way and required to obtain a Quebec selection certificate which is a mandatory step for permanent residency application.
Two streams under this category are:
1. Temporary foreign worker
Requirements
Must be 18 years or older
Must have intent to settle in Quebec
Must have knowledge of oral French level 7
Must have a full time paid job for 24 to 36 months under NOC O, A or B level job at the time of application
Must have legal status in Quebec as a temporary worker or under a youth exchange program (Working Holiday, Young Professionals or International Co-op Internship)
Must be financially self sufficient
Accompanying Spouse must have knowledge of French level 4
2. International students in Quebecr
Requirements
Must be 18 years or older
Must have intent to settle in Quebec
Must have knowledge of oral French level 7
Must be financially self sufficient
Hold an eligible Québec diploma and have eligible work experience in Québec following your study program
Have lived in Québec for at least half of the duration of their study program and must be in Quebec at the time of application
